Madonna Rice is a children's author who lives in Chicago with her family. She is widowed and the mother of four grown children: Kevin, Brendan, Colin and Eileen. She attended Elmhurst College and received a BS in Nursing and Psychology. She is presently enrolled in the Institute for Lay Formation in the Lay Leadership Program of University of Saint Mary of the Lake. Madonna worked at Christ Hospital and Little Company of Mary as a registered nurse in post intensive care and mother-baby. She is the co-founder and past owner of Phototherapy Solutions. Madonna has volunteered extensively at Queen Of Martyrs Parish, St. John Fisher School, Brother Rice High School, and Marist High School. She is committed to helping others during all phases of their lives. She loves writing for children and is happy to share her insights and life experiences.
Raye Ann Saunoris illustrated the internationally published Secret Drawer, written by Nancy Gee. This book was awarded the Mother's Choice Award. Raye Ann is the founder of A Ray of Color, which is her mural and design business. This talented artist is married and has two teenage boys.
